The Trasimène VPN is not a separate product: it extends the protection already in the app. It encrypts your connection, spots the dangerous sites you contact so it can flag them to you, and reconnects by itself once turned on.

Our VPN uses WireGuard, a recent and lightweight technology trusted by specialists.
What our servers keep
The content of your traffic is neither read nor recorded. Our servers keep the history of your VPN connections (server, address assigned in the tunnel, connection and disconnection times), deleted 72 hours after access ends, and the volume of data exchanged each month, kept for 13 months. For 48 hours, they also keep the sites from our threat and advertising lists that you contacted, with how many times, the most requested non-existent site names, and figures about your connections and the names requested (count, ports, duration, length), without any address or site name.
Threat detection
Site names requested inside the tunnel go through our own DNS servers, which match them against lists of malicious sites, phishing pages and command servers, and flag in the app the dangerous sites you contacted. They do not block them themselves: resolution is handed to Quad9, a Swiss service that filters out on its side the malicious domains it knows.
It reconnects by itself
Once the VPN is on, automatic connection brings it back without you thinking about it: on iPhone as soon as a network is available, on Android when the phone starts up and when you open the VPN screen. You can turn this setting off, switch the VPN off or pick another country at any time.
